Study the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in Spain

ABRSM is the world's leading autority on musical assessment, actively supporting and encouuraging music learning for all.

The ABRSM is a British educational institution with several strings to its bow and a worldwide arena to play in. Apart from providing practical and theory exams in more than 90 countries including Spain, it is also a publishing company and a training provider.
Each year more than 600,000 candidates take ABRSM music exams. ABRSM publishes sheet music, books, exam papers and syllabuses, and runs training workshops for music teachers worldwide.

Meeting the needs of learners

Strings ABRSM offers a diverse range of exams and assessments to meet the changing needs of different learners in today's world.

These range from the Prep Test and Music Medals for the earliest stages of learning through to professional diplomas at the highest levels of musical achievement and encompass exams for ensembles and choirs, jazz exams, and provision for adult learners and those with special educational needs along the way. The ABRSM exams include: -


* WoodwindPrep Test: a gentle introduction to music exams for the youngest musicians
* Music Medals: exams for group-taught pupils at the early stages of learning
* Graded music exams: Grades 1 - 8, practical and theory - the internationally benchmarked standard
* Diplomas: professional qualifications in Music Direction, Music Performance and Instrumental/Vocal Teaching
* Jazz: Grades 1 - 5 for piano, flute, clarinet, alto sax, tenor sax, trumpet, trombone and jazz ensembles
